Admissions FAQs

When is the ideal time to apply?

The ideal time to apply is during phase 1, which typically begins on November 1 and ends on February 1. However, we continue to accept applications, pending availability, until all seats and classes are filled.

Can I complete the application online?

Yes, we encourage you to inquire online and schedule a tour. Online applications will open after November 1. You can create a parent account through FACTS.

Is there transportation (busing) available for students?

The Medina, Highland, Wadsworth, Cloverleaf, and Buckeye districts will bus students directly to MCA. Other local districts provide a payment in lieu of transportation, but parents need to call their local district’s transportation office directly for more information.

Do you provide intervention services?

We do provide service to students with disabilities. However, our resources are limited. Medina Christian Academy reviews all IEPs before accepting students, ensuring transparency with families about what the private school can and cannot provide. Intervention specialists work alongside teachers to provide accommodations, specially designed instruction, and a variety of supports in order to help meet the needs of the students.

What activities do you offer for elementary students?

On the elementary level, we offer a science club, an art club, and piano lessons, all after school.

How often do students have Bible lessons?

Every class from PreK3 to 12th grade has a daily Bible lesson and prayer. In addition, students have Chapel once a week, and the middle and high schools also have Connections groups. Our teachers biblically integrate lessons, helping students to learn how the Bible is relevant to every subject.

Is MCA Accredited?

We are an ACSI member school and are working towards accreditation in 2026.

Does MCA offer before- and after-school care?

Yes, students may be dropped off before school begins and stay after school ends. Please contact Admissions for the specific hours for your child’s building.
