An important undertaking for a middle school student is to begin to develop independence as a learner and thinker, while rooted in a biblical worldview. Students and teachers partner to foster the students’ study habits and accountability while growing students’ autonomy. Teachers help to shape students into the person God has intended them to be. Teachers integrate all studies with biblical perspectives, and students are provided with an understanding of God throughout all subject areas. PROVIDING A CLEAR PATH
Our middle school students will grow academically with challenging, individualized coursework and several courses available for high school credit; spiritually with multiple service projects and retreats; and socially through active participation and meaningful engagement with peers and faculty in classes, clubs, Chapel, service projects, and other social interactions. They also have engaging opportunities to grow as leaders through experiences including Knight’s Leadership Council, drama performances, sports, arts performances, and creative writing clubs.

I got to know so many kids right away. One thing that I love about MCA is while you may have your “main friend groups,” there are so many other kids that you can connect with. Through our spiritual retreats, class discussions, missions trips, and in the curriculum I feel that I have grown closer to Christ. Daily He gives me joy and peace in so many different ways.
